Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeping Clerk/CFO Support, Private Equity Fund
<p>AYCE Capital is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clerk to work directly with its CFO to support her in her day-to-day tasks. Providing support of AYCE's day-to-day finance operations and help drive financial clarity across the fund. This role blends traditional bookkeeping with broader administrative oversight in a service-based, high-trust environment. The ideal candidate will excel in assisting the CFO at AYCE Capital and its portfolio companies finance functions. They will also play a vital role in maintaining accurate books, ensuring client communications are prompt and professional, and helping the AYCE Capital’s finance team stay efficient and accountable. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statement preparation for the holding company and subsidiaries.</li><li>Ensure compliance with IFRS (or ASPE, as applicable) and internal reporting policies. </li><li>Supervise the day-to-day accounting at portfolio companies - including GL management, and AP/AR management.</li><li>Oversee semi-monthly payroll for portfolio companies.</li><li>Coordinate with CFO to implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.</li><li>Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.</li><li>Ensure tax filings, HST, and other compliance obligations are met for all entities.</li><li>Maintain corporate records and liaise with legal/accounting advisors as needed.</li><li>Support CFO in monitoring cash flow, banking relationships, and funding needs. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in a holding company, investment management, or multi-entity environment preferred</li><li>Proficient in Excel and ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks etc.)</li><li>Proven experience in an administrative, bookkeeping, or office operations role - including reconciliations, invoicing, and vendor management.</li><li>Strong knowledge of consolidated reporting, intercompany accounting, and compliance.</li><li>Proven ability to interact with clients and vendors professionally and tactfully, particularly regarding billing, escalations, or concerns.</li><li>Comfortable handling sensitive information (payroll reminders, insurance, benefits) with discretion.</li><li>Strategic mindset with an eye toward continuous improvement and operational excellence. • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - whether it’s reviewing invoices, drafting proposals, or overseeing training compliance.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>About Us:</strong></p><p>AYCE Capital’s initial fund acquires and partners with high-performing and successful IT service companies (Managed Service Providers) to drive organic growth and take service delivery to the next level.
