About the position
As an Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for preparing orders for delivery. This role involves receiving inventory, utilizing technology to manage orders, and ensuring that packages are ready for drivers to pick up. The position is part-time and seasonal, with a focus on efficiency and safety in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare inventory for delivery ,
- Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders ,
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages ,
- Lift up to 49 pounds as needed ,
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts ,
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around ,
- Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable) ,
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols during all tasks
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older ,
- Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English
