Amazon Operations Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support our Amazon business operations. This role focuses on enrolling items into SIOC, managing chargeback disputes and shortage claims, coordinating FBA shipments, and creating reports to share with vendors and internal teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, efficient, and experienced in Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central processes.

Responsibilities

  • Enroll products into SIOC (Ships In Own Container) and maintain accurate eligibility records.
  • Review, submit, and track Amazon chargeback disputes, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete.
  • File and manage shortage claims, working to recover funds for missing inventory.
  • Create, monitor, and update FBA shipments, ensuring compliance with Amazon requirements.
  • Generate detailed reports related to SIOC status, chargebacks, shortage claims, and FBA shipments.
  • Send reports and operational updates to vendors and relevant internal teams.
  • Investigate discrepancies and identify root causes of shortages and chargebacks.
  • Maintain SOPs and documentation for operational processes.
  • Collaborate with logistics, accounting, and vendor partners to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central preferred.
  • Knowledge of SIOC requirements, chargebacks, shortage claims, and FBA processes is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Experience communicating directly with vendors and Amazon support teams.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools or dashboards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
