Join U+ Toastmasters as a Volunteer and make a positive impact on the community while promoting our inspiring public speaking and leadership programs! What You’ll Do: <ul><li> Support camp leadership:</li><li> Assist the Camp Director in planning, organizing, and overseeing all camp operations and programs.</li><li> Supervise staff and volunteers:</li><li> Help recruit, train, and manage camp counsellors and support staff to ensure a high-quality camper experience.</li><li> Ensure camper safety and welfare:</li><li> Monitor daily activities, enforce safety protocols, and respond to emergencies or incidents promptly.</li><li> Coordinate program delivery:</li><li> Oversee the implementation of recreational, educational, and social activities, ensuring they meet camper needs and camp goals.</li><li> Manage administrative tasks:</li><li> Assist with scheduling, record-keeping, budgeting, and communication with parents and stakeholders.</li><li> Facilitate staff development:</li><li> Provide ongoing support, coaching, and performance feedback to camp personnel.</li><li> Assist with conflict resolution:</li><li> Help address camper or staff issues effectively and maintain a positive camp environment.</li><li> Step in during Camp Director absence:</li><li> Take on leadership responsibilities as needed to maintain smooth camp operations. </li></ul>This is a volunteer position, ideal for students, creatives, or anyone looking to get involved in meaningful work while sharpening their marketing skills.
