Associate, Onboarding & Client Experience (DB Pension)

Altis is proud to partner with one of our most prestigious financial services organizations, with expertise in pension derisking, to hire a Senior Associate, Onboarding & Client Experience.

Reporting directly to the Director, PRT Operations, Onboarding & Client Experience, you will play a pivotal role in the client activation process for recent acquisitions . Your expertise will be crucial in understanding the complexities of new business, safeguarding the interests of internal teams, intermediaries, clients, and annuitants alike.

This is a full time, peramanent role that will require a minimum of 3 days on site in downtown Toronto (Bay & Adelaide).

Candidates MUST have DEFINED BENEFIT PENSION experience to apply .Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project coordination and delivery for multiple onboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Oversee data reconciliation and establish data requirements for new client setups.
  • Manage annuitant communication and review welcome packages.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with large consulting firms, clients, and outsourcing partners.
  • Understand unique client needs and navigate complex pension details through collaborative efforts.
  • Ensure new business is set up for success, leading to error-free ongoing operations.
What You Bring:
  • Experience in pension plan and/or group annuity administration.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • High proficiency in data literacy and analytical thinking.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and resourcefulness.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Education:
  • Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience.
  • PPAC and/or CEBS and/or ASA designations are highly valued.
  • Bilingual skills (English/French) are preferred.
