AWS Cloud Engineer

<b>Job Description</b><br><br>We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS CDK (with TypeScript), Redshift, and cloud-native infrastructure services. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, deploying, and managing scalable AWS-based solutions for data and analytics platforms. Your proficiency in infrastructure as code, AWS services, and Redshift operations will be essential to drive secure and efficient cloud implementations.<br><b><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></b><br><ul><li>Design and deploy AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK with TypeScript and CloudFormation templates</li><li>Administer and optimize AWS Redshift</li><li>Build and debug AWS Glue jobs and manage execution roles</li><li>Create and manage IAM roles with fine-grained access for secure integrations and deployments</li><li>Implement and manage KMS (CMK & DEK) for encryption and data protection</li><li>Store and manage secrets using AWS Secrets Manager</li><li>Build and orchestrate data pipelines with Apache Airflow (DAG creation and execution)</li><li>Manage secure file transfers via AWS SFTP</li><li>Develop and debug AWS Lambda serverless functions</li><li>Configure Amazon S3 buckets for object storage, lifecycle policies, encryption, and access control</li><li>Design event-driven architectures using EventBridge with rule-based triggers</li><li>Execute grants and manage schemas using Redshift SQL Workbench</li></ul><b><strong>Primary Skills & Qualifications</strong></b><br><ul><li>10+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years in AWS infrastructure and services</li><li>Expert in AWS CDK (TypeScript) and CloudFormation</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Redshift, Glue, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manger, Airflow, Lambda, S3, EventBridge</li><li>Strong knowledge of Redshift SQL, data movement, and performance optimization</li><li>Familiarity with version control, code branching strategies, and release management</li></ul><br><br> We're an equal opportunity employer committed to increasing diversity and inclusion in today's workforce.
