They are seeking a <strong>detail-oriented Bilingual Payroll Coordinator</strong> to join their finance team and help manage payroll for employees in both Ontario and Quebec. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting a dynamic, multi-entity organization with approximately <strong>300 employees</strong>, using <strong>Desjardins Payroll</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>The Payroll Coordinator will manage end-to-end payroll for employees across Ottawa and Quebec, ensuring compliance with provincial legislation and internal policies. The ideal candidate is <strong>bilingual (English/French)</strong>, has hands-on experience with <strong>Quebec payroll</strong>, and can navigate multi-jurisdiction payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Administer payroll for Ontario and Quebec employees, ensuring compliance with provincial legislation and collective agreements where applicable.</li><li>Process and reconcile payroll for approx. 300 employees using <strong>Desjardins Payroll</strong>.</li><li>Maintain payroll-related G/L accounts and assist with month-end journal entries.</li><li>Support internal and external payroll audits with accurate documentation and reporting.</li><li>Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.</li><li>Manage employee records, deductions, and ROEs.</li><li>Generate payroll reports and perform data analysis to identify process improvements.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li><strong>Fluent in English and French</strong> (oral and written).</li><li>3+ years of payroll experience, with strong exposure to <strong>Quebec payroll legislation</strong>.</li><li>Experience managing payroll for 200+ employees across multiple provinces.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Desjardins Payroll</strong>.</li><li>Knowledge of G/L reconciliations, month-end journal entries, and payroll reporting.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.</li><li>Payroll certification (PCP or PLP) is an asset.</li></ul><p>What’s Offered</p><ul><li>Fully remote position with flexible working hours.</li><li>Base salary: $70,000.</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package.</li><li>Opportunity to work with a stable, growing real estate group.</li><li>Supportive culture emphasizing accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p></p>
