In this remote collection role, you will play a key part in minimizing bad debt while ensuring compliance with provincial regulations across Canada.
You will be expected to learn, understand, and retain regulatory requirements for each province related to collection activity. You bring strong negotiation, persuasion, and resolution skills, along with a commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Your excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities will make you a valuable member of the team.With your extensive computer knowledge, keen attention to detail, and exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, you'll help ensure the department's daily operations run efficiently.

Communication with debtors to bring resolution to unpaid accounts
Providing thorough, efficient, and accurate account updates for each call made or received
Demonstrate effective skip tracing techniques by locating debtor contact information
Identify unpaid accounts that qualify for legal recovery (processes varying by province) while assisting with the servicing of current accounts within the legal queue with the potential of remote court appearances
Job Requirements
Valid Government Issued Photo ID
Clean Criminal Record
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous collections experience would be considered an asset
Flexible availability (Evenings & Saturdays- we do not operate on Sundays)
As this is a work from home position, you will be provided with the appropriate equipment to be successful in this role.
