We promote from within!</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p>In this remote collection role, you will play a key part in minimizing bad debt while ensuring compliance with provincial regulations across Canada. You will be expected to learn, understand, and retain regulatory requirements for each province related to collection activity. You bring strong negotiation, persuasion, and resolution skills, along with a commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Your excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities will make you a valuable member of the team. With your extensive computer knowledge, keen attention to detail, and exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, you’ll help ensure the department’s daily operations run efficiently. You are self-motivated, take pride in your achievements, and consistently strive for excellence while supporting company goals and initiatives. </p><p> <strong>Job Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li>Communication with debtors to bring resolution to unpaid accounts </li><li>Providing thorough, efficient, and accurate account updates for each call made or received </li><li>Demonstrate effective skip tracing techniques by locating debtor contact information </li><li>Identify unpaid accounts that qualify for legal recovery (processes varying by province) while assisting with the servicing of current accounts within the legal queue with the potential of remote court appearances</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Government Issued Photo ID</li><li>Clean Criminal Record</li><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>Previous collections experience would be considered an asset</li><li>Flexible availability (Evenings & Saturdays- we do not operate on Sundays)</li></ul><p>As this is a work from home position, you will be provided with the appropriate equipment to be successful in this role.
