<p><strong>Title</strong>: Data Modeler</p><p><strong>Resume Due Date</strong>: Thursday, August 21, 2025 (5:00PM EST) </p><p><strong>Number of Vacancies</strong>: 1</p><p><strong>Level</strong>: MP4, upto $90/hr INC</p><p><strong>Duration</strong>: 12 Months</p><p><strong>Hours of work:</strong> 35</p><p><strong>Location</strong>: </p><p>Temp – 700 University Av (Hybrid – 2 days remote) </p><p>Base – From Oct, Oshawa on rotating schedule</p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Analyze and document existing data sources and structures across SAP ECG and related systems.</li><li>Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the S/4HANA target environment, with a focus on embedding data quality and integrity in all designs.</li><li>Develop data mapping specifications and support data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment activities, ensuring data quality is maintained throughout.</li><li>Develop and maintain scripts or code (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar) to automate data curation, cleansing, structuring, and enrichment, with a strong emphasis on data quality controls and validation.</li><li>Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data models meet business requirements, SAP best practices, and data quality standards.</li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, mapping documents, and model diagrams, incorporating data quality rules and definitions.</li><li>Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance efforts during migration.</li><li>Advise on data governance, master data management, and data integration strategies.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in data modelling, preferably within SAP environments.</li><li>Hands-on experience with SAP ECG and S/4HANA data structures.</li><li>Strong understanding of data harmonization, data quality management, and data governance principles.</li><li>Proficiency with data modelling tools (e.g., ER/STudio, ERwin, or similar).</li><li>Ability to write scripts or code (such as Python, SQL, or similar languages) to automate and enforce data quality during cleansing, curation, transformation, and enrichment processes.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Experience in large-scale ERP migrations or transformations is highly desirable.</li></ul><p></p>
