Job Summary
We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you'll provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Assist with medication management and administration
- Support clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Encourage client participation in recreational activities and social events
Requirements
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months
- Adult and Child Abuse Registry Check within the last 6 months
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Proof of a negative TB test within the last 12 months and up-to-date immunization record
- Ability to travel from home to home within the community
- Commitment to work every other weekend
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Reliability and strong organization skills
