Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance
- Handle janitorial tasks efficiently using industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow established protocols for waste disposal and linen management to uphold hygiene standards
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory control and adhering to cleaning schedules
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning methods and floor care procedures
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service excellence is advantageous
- Experience with janitorial equipment and supplies ensures efficient task completion
- Background in housekeeping management or supervisory roles can be beneficial but is not required
