Housekeeper/Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and organization in various environments, including residential spaces. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of residential areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Organize and declutter spaces to enhance the overall appearance and functionality of the environment.
  • Launder linens and other fabrics as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their specific cleaning requirements and preferences.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning supplies responsibly to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide hospitality services as needed, ensuring that clients feel comfortable and satisfied with the cleanliness of their space.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as French is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail in cleaning tasks.
  • Previous experience in residential cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
  • A willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and methods to improve service quality.
  • Basic cooking skills may be beneficial for specific client requests or needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$35.98 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
