Job Description: Job Summary Reporting to the Divisional Director of Development and working closely with the Major Gift team, the Mid-Level Fundraiser will play a central role in the development, planning and implementation of the Mid-Level donor program. This position will act as the Development team’s dedicated internal resource to develop this pool of donors by executing a multichannel program aimed at renewing and increasing support. The role will work to compliment the annual marketing program with best practice that informs the Mid-Level program and runs as a regularly scheduled series of meaningful touchpoints. Key Accountabilities Lead the development and execution of a dynamic mid-level fundraising strategy that strengthens donor relationships and drives sustained revenue growth. Cultivate, solicit, and steward mid-level donors to increase giving, retention, and identify potential major gift prospects. Provide personalized engagement through thank-you notes, calls, handwritten messages, ministry tour offers, and local updates. Assign and guide mid-level donors into appropriate fundraising portfolios, ensuring timely and informed follow-up by staff. Maintain accurate donor records, respond to donor requests, and track all interactions in the database. Participate in events and activities involving mid-level donors and prospects. Collaborate with internal teams to develop donor offers and materials, overseeing projects from concept to completion. Stay current with industry best practices and apply innovations to enhance mid-level donor strategies and segmentation. Provide administrative oversight—track, analyze, and report on revenue, retention, and program effectiveness. Support related fundraising functions, including Major Gifts, Planned Giving, donor relations, and general donor services as needed. Education and Experience Qualifications 3 – 5 years of experience in fundraising, specifically donor cultivation and stewardship Knowledge of fund development best practices and principles Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and planning skills Writing and editing experience Proficient in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT and related digital marketing tools for effective donor management and engagement. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, analysis, and presentation. Strong understanding of philanthropic trends at both national and international levels to inform fundraising strategies. Highly detail-oriented and accurate, ensuring data integrity and professional communication. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills, fostering positive relationships with donors and colleagues. Proven ability to analyze, segment, and report on data to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends. Committed to compliance with all organizational policies, regulations, and legal requirements in all aspects of work. Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is $55,693.49 to $69,616.86 with a maximum of $83,540.23. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
