<strong>Position: Marketing Manager – Food and Nutrition<br><br></strong><strong>Location: Ontario or Quebec Canada<br><br>Status: Permanent, full-time <br><br></strong>We have an opening for a <strong>Marketing Manager </strong>to support and lead part of the Product Marketing team in Canada. Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the Product Market Manager and a portion of the Product Management team. Our employees are professional and passionate about our business.<br><br><strong>Leadership Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>The Marketing Manager's responsibilities include</strong>:<br><br><ul><li>Support the group in defining and executing on the supplier/product marketing strategy within the team, aligned with our Quadra Supplier Management philosophy</li><li>Develop direct connection and relationships with Supplier Partners</li><li>Actively participate in industry events such as tradeshows, network within our target markets to support our growth objectives</li><li>Have direct management and leadership responsibility for the Product Market Manager and some of the Product Managers or Buyers within the group’s PM team</li><li>Translate strategic objectives into actionable goals and development plans</li><li>Foster a high-performance culture and strong collaboration between marketing and sales teams</li><li>Spearhead growth in terms of potential new products and target markets </li><li>Special projects as delegated by the Business Director or Head of Product Marketing geared towards the candidate’s key strengths </li><li>Be a leader and champion for the product marketing team within the organization<br><br></li></ul><strong>The Marketing Manager will lead and support the Product Managers whose responsibilities include: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Manage relationships with a domestic and international supplier base</li><li>Identify and provide a reliable and competitive supply of products for targeted markets</li><li>Build strong, multi-level relationships with suppliers through regular documented visits</li><li>Responsible for continued market development and sustained profitable growth of product portfolio</li><li>Central role in working very closely with the corporate sales force and balancing corporate objectives, customer requirements and supplier expectations</li><li>Be the expert of your key products and markets</li><li>Manage pricing and maintain price lists</li><li>Formally evaluate the performance of key suppliers</li><li>Be present at target industry events (i.e. trade shows, conferences, etc.) to gain market knowledge and awareness.</li><li>Build strong connections and relationships with the Quadra sales team based on trust, credibility and collaboration</li><li>Delivering presentations both for internal and external communication (i.e. suppliers, customers, conferences)</li><li>Being a key contributor to shaping group strategic objectives and achieving the mission statement<br><br></li></ul>At Quadra, we offer not only an engaging culture, a collaborative, family-oriented and supportive environment, but also plenty of autonomy and flexibility. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.<br><br>Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and full benefits.
