Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Listen to the recorded dictation of doctors.
  • Transcribe and interpret the dictation into diagnostic test results and reports.
  • Make sure the transcription is correct, complete and has a consistent style.
  • Identify inconsistencies, error and missing information within a report that could compromise patient care.
  • Submit health records to physicians for approval.
  • Follow patient confidentiality / guidelines and legal documentation requirements.
  • Filing and upload transcribed reports.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements :

  • At least GCE 'N" / 'O' Levels, Professional Certificate / NiTEC, Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in any field
  • Related working experience in healthcare and understanding of medical terminology / abbreviations / jargon will be an added advantage
  • Strong computer / typing skills. Proficient in MS Office Advantage
  • Meticulous, eye for details, precise, organised and efficient
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Effective team player and able to work in fast paced environment
  • Those who does not require sponsorship of work pass are welcome to apply
  • 5.5 days work week (Monday to Friday; Half Saturday)
