Multimedia Designer Co-op/Intern

Create multimedia presentations and develop assets for Nokia’s Network Automation Group in Ottawa during a 4-month co-op/internship.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create multimedia presentations for the Network Automation Group
  • Develop materials and assets for large multimedia projects
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Apply user-centered design principles
  • Solve problems creatively and thoughtfully
  • Contribute to team efforts while also being self-driven
  • Apply corporate design systems consistently and effectively

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently a candidate for a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Multimedia Design or a related field from an accredited Canadian school
  • Experience collaborating across disciplines with designers, engineers, developers, and product teams
  • A user-focused mindset with a strong foundation in design thinking
  • Proficiency in multimedia tools such as After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Miro
  • Ability to clearly communicate design ideas and feedback through engaging visuals
  • Strong visual design skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work under tight timelines
  • A portfolio showcasing process, rationale, and final multimedia outputs
  • Nice to have: experience with 3D modeling software and familiarity with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript

  • Salary range: 41,184 to 96,356 CAD per year
