Specializing in Video Production Location: Vaughan Term: Fall 2025Department: Marketing & Communications About the Role:Plan Group is looking for a creative and motivated Junior Multimedia Designer Co-op with a strong interest in video production to join our Marketing and Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, contributing to both visual design and video content creation across multiple channels. You’ll support our team in developing visual assets, editing video content, and helping to bring campaigns to life—from social media to internal communications and event collateral. What You’ll Do Brand & Creative Support<ul><li>Champion and apply Plan Group’s brand standards across all design and video materials.</li><li>Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and content.</li></ul> Graphic Design<ul><li>Design and update digital and print assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).</li><li>Create and adapt PowerPoint presentations with visual polish and brand consistency.</li><li>Produce icons, infographics, and layouts for web, social, email, and internal channels.</li><li>Support the team in refining existing templates and layouts.</li></ul> Video Production<ul><li>Edit and produce video content for social media, internal campaigns, and events using Premiere Pro and After Effects.</li><li>Develop graphic elements and animations for videos (motion design).</li><li>Help storyboard, script, and bring concepts to life through compelling visuals and audio.</li></ul> Image & Asset Management<ul><li>Curate, organize, and edit image libraries and video clips.</li><li>Source visuals for use in collateral, social media, and branded content.</li></ul> What We’re Looking ForCurrently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Media Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Communications, or a related field.<ul><li>Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.</li><li>Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and layout.</li><li>Excellent time management and organization skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently on multiple projects.</li></ul> Bonus If You Have<ul><li>Familiarity with social media platforms and content formats (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube).</li><li>Experience with photography, filming, or sound editing.</li><li>An online portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant design and video work.</li></ul> When you join #TeamPlanGroup, you’re not just starting a job—you’re building a career with one of Canada’s most respected contractors.
