About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Finding Focus, you’ll be at the forefront of high-quality virtual mental health care. From initial assessments to follow-up care, you’ll support individuals navigating a range of mental health and neurodevelopmental challenges. This flexible, contract role is available Full-Time at 37.5-40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual mental health assessments and deliver evidence-based follow-up care on both adults and pediatric patients
  • Specialize in areas like ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, addictions, and more
  • Use our AI-enhanced platform to streamline documentation and focus more on patient connection
  • Order and interpret labs as clinically indicated
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to guide care planning
  • Maintain high-quality records within our efficient, clinician-friendly EMR
  • Help shape patient experience and drive continuous care improvement

Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Primary Health Care NP and/or Acute Adult NP
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses in your local province (3 licenses is required to being working at our clinic but we do assist in licensing cost reimbursement)
  • 2+ years of NP experience (ideally acute care settings like internal medicine, emergency, mental health, or cardiology)
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered, empathetic approach
  • Availability for 40hours/week within Mon–Fri 8 AM–8 PM EST and/or Sat 10 AM–6 PM EST

Preferred

  • Virtual care experience
  • Familiarity with diverse populations, marginalized communities, or trauma-informed care
  • Experience in tech-enabled, collaborative health environments
