The Assistant Plant Manager will assist the plant manager in planning, coordination and supervision of ongoing activities at various GVA plant operations to achieve all targets, budgets, objectives and goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the plant manager in promoting a safety culture through engagement with employees, visual leadership, and implementation and maintenance of local and regional initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the plant manager to ensure production meets forecasted demand while serving customers with timely shipping strategies and quality-assured products.
  • Providing effective leadership for employees by working closely with them on a daily basis, contributing to the development of emerging leaders, and delegating tasks with accountability.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience.
  • Construction Safety Officer (CSO) certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and SAP.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to handle difficult issues in a positive way.
