Payroll and Accounting Administrator
<p>Robert Half is partnered with a construction organization that is hiring a Payroll and Accounting Administrator to join their growing team. This is a full time permanent position located in the Mississauga area. As the Payroll and Accounting Administrator you will be responsible for;</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Weekly processing of hourly and salary payroll for under 75 employees</li><li>Maintain new hires, terminations and employee files</li><li>Entering time cards daily and maintaining payroll job costing in ERP</li><li>Pension and benefit administration</li><li>Annual T4 preparation and ROE preparation</li><li>Reconciliation of payroll, pension and benefits</li><li>Process Accounts Receivable; generate invoices, obtain approvals, post invoices in ERP</li><li>Process Accounts Payable; matching invoices, coding of invoices, data entry, prepare payment runs via cheque, wire and EFT</li><li>Support the Controller with Month End close; journal entries, account reconciliation </li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Minimum 2 year's accounting and payroll experience</li><li>Experience with weekly payroll is an asset</li><li>Accounting Diploma or related preferred </li><li>Intermediate Excel with knowledge of VLOOKUP's and pivot tables</li><li>Experience with ERP or payroll software required</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to adapt in a dynamic role</li></ul><p></p>
