Role Overview <ul><li>Position: Technical Expert Project Manager (TEPM) – Contract, Remote</li><li>Commitment: At least 20 hours per week</li><li>This role supports Strategic Project Leads in managing AI projects. It requires strong technical skills, especially in SQL and dashboarding tools like Hex. </li></ul>Responsibilities <ul><li>Support a Mercor Project Lead in coordinating project operations and managing workflows.</li><li>Build and maintain project dashboards in Hex to track metrics and expert engagement.</li><li>Engage experts on projects and manage community interactions.</li><li>Respond to expert support tickets and lead targeted follow-ups as needed.</li><li>Host office hours and develop Q&A documentation once projects reach a steady state.</li><li>Distribute project metrics emails, issue reminders or warnings, and nudge experts as needed.</li><li>Perform first-round data QA, often in collaboration with lead reviewers. </li></ul>Requirements / Qualifications Must-Have Qualifications <ul><li>2+ years of experience in technical project management, operations, or similar.</li><li>Proficiency with SQL and experience using Hex or comparable data visualization tools.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build, track, and maintain technical project infrastructure.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills for expert engagement.</li><li>Structured approach to quality control and documentation.</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems. </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Experience with data annotation, especially in rubrics, is a strong plus.</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. </li></ul>Engagement Details <ul><li>Fully remote work around your schedule.</li><li>$50/hr (USD) compensation.</li><li>Weekly payout via Stripe Connect based on logged hours.</li><li>Classified as an "at-will" contractor to Mercor.</li><li>Direct mentorship from an experienced Mercor Strategic Project Lead.</li><li>Initial scope varies by project; strong contributors may be offered evergreen contracts.</li><li>We cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates. </li></ul>Application Process (Takes 20-30 mins to complete) <ul><li>Upload resume</li><li>AI interview based on your resume</li><li>Submit form </li></ul>Resources & Support <ul><li>For details about the interview process and platform information, please check: https://talent.docs.mercor.com/welcome/welcome</li><li>For any help or support, reach out to: support@mercor.com </li></ul>PS: Our team reviews applications daily.
