Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/Psychiatric Physician Assistant

Position Overview: We are an outpatient mental health clinic seeking a professional, independent Board-Certified PMHNP for a flexible, part-time 1099 coverage role. Design your own schedule and handle overflow at your own pace.

Compensation & Structure:

• New Patient Intakes (60 Mins): $100.00 flat rate per completed session.
• Follow-Up / Med Checks (30 Mins): $75.00 flat rate per completed session.
• 100% Admin Support: Our team handles all scheduling, billing, and insurance. Patients fill out all histories online before they hit your schedule, keeping your 60-minute intakes smooth and streamlined.

Note: This is a 1099 Position and is not offering benefits!

Core Responsibilities

As a key member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, evidence-based care:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing management for adults and adolescents with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medication and non-pharmacological treatment plans.
• Actively collaborate with physicians, therapists, and Primary Care Providers to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to patient well-being.
• Maintain meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and strict HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in team meetings as required to contribute to coordinated care strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid PMHNP license in the state of Texas is an absolute MUST.
• Experience with working in a mental health setting is REQUIRED
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Specialization and experience working with adult and adolescent populations.
• Ability to be physically present in the office 2 days per week, with flexibility to come in on other days if clinical needs require it.
