Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Community Crisis Response Team (CRT) in 100 Mile House, BC.

Responsibilities

  • Functions as a member of the Hospitals & Communities Integrated Services (HCIS) or Tertiary Mental Health Services multi-disciplinary care team
  • Ensures access to timely, responsive, evidence-based treatment and clinical supports across the continuum of available services for individuals with serious mental health problems, substance use issues, or developmental disability concerns
  • Provides assessment, treatment, case management, community support, and urgent response as required to clients who may have functional impairments in physical health and personal, family, financial, occupational, and social domains
  • Acts as a primary clinician utilizing a variety of specialized treatment modalities / therapies for individuals, groups, and / or families
  • Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN)
  • Experience in Mental Health and Substance Use settings; ability to perform brief mental health and substance use assessments in crisis situations
  • Ability to adapt to diverse community settings, clinics, and acute care environments
  • Location and schedule

    This is a permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity. Days of work are Monday to Friday, 08 : 30 to 16 : 30.
