[Remote] Insights Associate - Consumer

YipitData is a leading market research and analytics firm focused on the disruptive economy, helping clients make sense of vast amounts of external data. The Insights Associate will develop and deliver data-driven insights for prospective clients, collaborating with various teams to provide actionable analysis that impacts business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating and delivering meaningful insights to prospective clients
- Dive into secondary research (industry publications, public earnings, research reports) and work with the Sales team to isolate key pain points for prospective clients, and deliver actionable analysis to address those issues
- Consult with the prospective client to uncover business opportunities and provide actionable insights that guide decision-making
- Walk through our capabilities, and identify areas where our data can help
- Identify solutions with prospective clients - this enables them to think creatively on what we’re missing and how we can address different functions and industries
- Gain skills in identifying new opportunities, sizing up potential impact, and working closely with Marketing to establish and execute a go-to-market strategy
Skills
- 2-4+ years of experience in business analytics or consulting
- A talent for data-driven storytelling
- Ability to work collaboratively in an innovative, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment
- Experience in collaborating with brand manufacturers and/or retailers and an understanding of their business needs
- SQL and/or Python experience is preferred, not required, but a willingness to learn is highly valued
