We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented, and proactiveEntry-Level Risk and Fraud Analystto join our team.
This role is ideal for a recent graduatewith strong analytical skills and a keen interest in risk mitigation, fraud detection, and operational integrity.You will help monitor, analyze, and support internal processes to ensure a secure and trustworthy environment for our users.
You, theRisk and Fraud Analystwill report to theRisk and Fraud Team Leadand will work closely with internal teams to support a secure operational environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fraud prevention and risk analysis in a dynamic, growing organization.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Vaughan, Ontario office. within avery dynamic and fast-paced environment andrequires occasional weekend hoursas part of regular operations support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring transactional and behavioral data to detect unusual patterns orpotentialfraudulent activity.
- Analyze operational and financial data using BI tools to support risk identification and decision-making.
- Conduct preliminary investigations into suspicious activity and escalate cases as needed to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of risk controls, policies, and procedures.
- Work cross-functionally with departments such as Customer Support to gather information and resolve risk-related issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analysis, or a related field.
- Ideal for arecent graduatelooking to start a career in risk, fraud prevention, or data analysis.
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced administrative, operational, or analytical role
- Comfortable handlingrepetitive taskswith a high level of accuracy and consistency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
