Senior Autism Clinician

Rios Applied Behaviour Analysis Professional Corporation (Phoenix Development Centre) is an authorized healthcare corporation looking for a Senior Autism Clinician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, data collection, patient care, and parent coaching. This position involves working with adolescents and their families in their homes and the community within the GTA. This is an employee position.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Work with clients and their caregivers directly.

Coach parents on certain goals as approved by the R.B.A.

Work alongside the Registered Behaviour Analyst in assessing needs.

Conduct assessments.

Assist in revisions of clients’ individualized goals.

Data collection.

Upkeeping of clients’ electronic graphing.

Communicate with parents and caregivers information pertaining client's progress to date as directed by the RBA.

Utilize augmentative communication devices.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Visit various clients during the span of a working day within the GTA.

Be proficient in Microsoft Office.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of three years of experience working with families and teams in a community setting. Centre-based experience is an asset but not required.

Experience with highly behavioural clients.

Experience working with high-functioning adolescents.

Ability to commute within the city and surrounding areas as needed.

Degree/Diploma in psychology or related field OR diploma in behavioural sciences

Police Vulnerable Sector Check or the ability to obtain one.
