Senior DevOps Engineer – Eligible for SC/NPPV3

Job Description:

  • Take ownership of cloud infrastructure from provisioning through to day-to-day operations
  • Use Infrastructure as Code as the default for everything, maintaining and improving our setup as the infrastructure evolves
  • Keep our CI/CD pipelines fast and reliable
  • Investigate and fix issues properly rather than patching around it
  • Monitor environments to track performance, uptime, and resource usage
  • Respond to and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Stay curious about industry developments and suggest improvements

Requirements:

  • Several years running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS
  • Experience with Azure is a bonus
  • Knowledge of Terraform (Teragrunt is a bonus) beyond the basics
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in a production context
  • Ability to write Python or Bash to automate
  • Experience with CI/CD (CircleCI is a bonus) at a level where you have created pipelines, not just used them
  • You understand the security considerations and have thought about deployment from a risk perspective
