Senior Esthetician and Spa Manager
Our client, a premier beauty and wellness destination in San Francisco, California , is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Esthetician and Spa Manager. This role combines expert client service with leadership responsibilities, overseeing daily spa operations and managing a team of skilled estheticians. You will be responsible for providing high-quality facial and skin care treatments, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving service revenue. As a manager, you will handle staff scheduling, inventory management, client relations, and uphold the spa's luxurious ambiance and high standards. Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of advanced esthetic treatments, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and waxing. Develop personalized skincare treatment plans for clients based on their specific needs and goals. Educate clients on product recommendations and at-home skincare routines. Manage spa operations, including opening and closing procedures, appointment scheduling, and client flow. Lead, train, and motivate a team of estheticians, ensuring adherence to spa protocols and service standards. Monitor service and product sales, implementing strategies to meet revenue targets. Manage spa inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and maintaining cost-effectiveness. Ensure the spa environment is immaculate, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation standards. Handle client inquiries, feedback, and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally. Stay current with industry trends, new treatments, and skincare technologies. Contribute to marketing efforts and client retention initiatives. Qualifications: Valid Esthetician license in California. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed esthetician, with a focus on advanced treatments. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a spa or salon environment. Proficiency in a variety of skincare modalities and advanced facial techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills. Strong leadership, team management, and motivational abilities. Experience with spa management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Knowledge of skincare products and ingredients. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for beauty, wellness, and client satisfaction.
