Senior Project Manager - Road Infrastructure

Job Title

Parsons is currently seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to work on projects throughout Northern Ontario.

As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will conduct daily inspections to determine contract adherence and conformance with contract specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspection according to MTO's Construction Administration and Inspection Specifications (CAIS).


• Reporting of installed quantities to verify applications for monthly payment and change order work.


• Maintaining detailed diaries and photographs to document daily construction activities.


• Verifying compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental regulations.


• Coordination of onsite sub-consultants and quality assurance material testing.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and/or combination of related experience.


• Registered with PEO as a P.Eng. or with OACETT as Road Construction Senior Inspector (rcsi)


• 5+ years of experience in construction inspection with MTO or municipal transportation projects.


• Knowledge of the requirements of MTO's Construction Administration and Inspection Specifications (CAIS)


• Knowledge of applicable design standards, OPS specifications, standard drawings, and quality control / quality assurance material testing methods.


• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to utilize computer software such as MS Word and Excel.
