  • Plan a developmentally appropriate program, using a variety of techniques
  • Plan a program that meets individual and group needs
  • Plan a daily schedule that provides for quiet activities, indoor and outdoor activities
  • Maintain an effective and consistent approach to child guidance that meets the legislative requirements as in the Behaviour Management Policy
  • To make sure that the activity centers are equipped and maintained
  • Ensures children are receiving healthy and nutritious meals throughout the day
  • Maintain accurate records on each child including daily reports, attendance records, medication, and weekly observations
  • To conduct daily health checks, record illnesses, and notify parents
  • To help the children with daily routines such as eating, toileting, and programmed activities
  • To establish pleasant eating and resting routines
  • To ensure the children are appropriately dressed for indoors and outdoors, depending on weather conditions
  • Give support and direction to assistant teachers, follow the timetable and shift assignment
  • Must attend all staff meetings or/ and staff workshops or development/training
  • To dress in a professional manner
  • Being aware of all food restrictions and allergies in the classroom and center
  • Being able to maintain open, professional communication
  • Has familiarity with using Microsoft Word and familiarity with using the computer qualifications-
  • 3+ years of experience in the Childcare industry
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Supervisor/Director (preferred)
  • Work remotely-No

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
