- Plan a developmentally appropriate program, using a variety of techniques
- Plan a program that meets individual and group needs
- Plan a daily schedule that provides for quiet activities, indoor and outdoor activities
- Maintain an effective and consistent approach to child guidance that meets the legislative requirements as in the Behaviour Management Policy
- To make sure that the activity centers are equipped and maintained
- Ensures children are receiving healthy and nutritious meals throughout the day
- Maintain accurate records on each child including daily reports, attendance records, medication, and weekly observations
- To conduct daily health checks, record illnesses, and notify parents
- To help the children with daily routines such as eating, toileting, and programmed activities
- To establish pleasant eating and resting routines
- To ensure the children are appropriately dressed for indoors and outdoors, depending on weather conditions
- Give support and direction to assistant teachers, follow the timetable and shift assignment
- Must attend all staff meetings or/ and staff workshops or development/training
- To dress in a professional manner
- Being aware of all food restrictions and allergies in the classroom and center
- Being able to maintain open, professional communication
- Has familiarity with using Microsoft Word and familiarity with using the computer qualifications-
- 3+ years of experience in the Childcare industry
- Previous experience as an Assistant Supervisor/Director (preferred)
- Work remotely-No
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
