Job Description:
- Unloading tools, preparing necessary materials and setting up required equipment.
- Knowledge of basic tools and power equipment.
- Perform construction and renovation tasks.
- Drywall installation, Board, Tape & Mudding.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
- Handle materials and transport them on job sites.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Ensure work meets quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and solve issues.
- Maintain job site cleanliness.
- Document work progress and report to supervisors.
- Be adaptable and take on new responsibilities as needed.
- General clean-up of the site; sweeping, shoveling, removing, and properly disposing of debris and waste materials and overall site maintenance.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of construction processes and being able to complete assigned tasks independently and without supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work individually, in a team and follow instructions.
- Strong site safety awareness.
- Lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Up to 25 lbs.
- Have your own hard-hat, safety-vest, gloves & safety boots.
- Nice to Haves (But Not Necessary): Have access to own vehicle or reliable transportation.
- Has Fall Protection, First Aid and/or WHMIS.
- Tickets in Heavy Equipment Use.
- Lives Close to Kamloops.
