Job Description:

  • Unloading tools, preparing necessary materials and setting up required equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic tools and power equipment.
  • Perform construction and renovation tasks.
  • Drywall installation, Board, Tape & Mudding.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Handle materials and transport them on job sites.
  • Adhere to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members.
  • Ensure work meets quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues.
  • Maintain job site cleanliness.
  • Document work progress and report to supervisors.
  • Be adaptable and take on new responsibilities as needed.
  • General clean-up of the site; sweeping, shoveling, removing, and properly disposing of debris and waste materials and overall site maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of construction processes and being able to complete assigned tasks independently and without supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work individually, in a team and follow instructions.
  • Strong site safety awareness.
  • Lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Up to 25 lbs.
  • Have your own hard-hat, safety-vest, gloves & safety boots.
  • Nice to Haves (But Not Necessary): Have access to own vehicle or reliable transportation.
  • Has Fall Protection, First Aid and/or WHMIS.
  • Tickets in Heavy Equipment Use.
  • Lives Close to Kamloops.
