Social Media Manager / Content Creator

We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager & Content Creator who can blend creativity, strategy, and execution. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in both a digital workspace and in-person environments, can manage multiple client accounts, and knows how to make content that truly connects.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photo and video content for social media platforms (primarily Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook).
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement customized strategies for each client to increase brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
  • Account Management: Manage multiple client social media accounts, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and aesthetic.
  • On-Site Shoots: Attend scheduled client content shoots across Toronto, Oakville, Mississauga, Burlington, and Hamilton.
  • Copywriting: Write compelling, on-brand captions and ad copy.
  • Scheduling & Publishing: Manage content calendars and schedule posts across platforms.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics and optimize strategies based on results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Founder and another SociallyBrooke team member to align on creative direction and client needs.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–4 years in social media management, marketing, and content creation.
  • Portfolio: Must provide a portfolio showcasing previous work in content creation and social media management.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook (knowledge of Pinterest & LinkedIn is a plus)
  • Photo and video shooting skills (DSLR or high-quality phone camera)
  • Proficient in editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar)
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling abilities
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and algorithms
  • Availability: Ability to work remotely and attend on-site shoots when needed.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
