<p><strong>InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm involved in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Our client is a leader in the metal recycling industry, they are looking for a <strong>Licensed Millwright</strong> to join their growing team.</p><p>Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation and repair of all plant equipment, as well as maintaining plant infrastructure. You will lead and support the maintenance staff, focusing on continuous process and efficiency improvements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment, including electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems</p><ul><li>Reading diagrams and drawings to determine work procedures</li><li>Installing, aligning, and dismantling industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, sensors, and motors</li><li>Ensuring standard processes are maintained and followed (e.g., coolant quality control, check valve monitoring, black line water changes)</li><li>Cleaning, lubricating, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment</li><li>Maintaining accurate records and following up on assigned tasks with completion times for deficiencies</li><li>Responding to equipment breakdowns using the current maintenance request program (e.g., assigning personnel, recommending replacement parts, repairs)</li><li>Working with Plant Management on planning and executing long-term projects, including developing tasks, schedules, and milestones to keep projects on track and within budget</li><li>Ensuring PM Program tasks are followed and completed, tracking and recording daily updates to Plant Management for scheduling PM times on equipment</li><li>Adjusting, updating, and developing the PM Program with Plant Management, including Operators' PMs</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have Red Seal Industrial Millwright 433A certification</li><li>Mechanical background, with experience working in a heavy industrial environment considered an asset.</li><li>Some knowledge of PLC controls an asset</li><li>Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable employee</li></ul><p><strong>Employment Rewards:</strong></p><p>· Extended health, dental, and vision coverage (90% coverage)</p><p>· Straight Afternoon Shift</p><p>· No Weekends</p><p>· OT available</p><p>· RRSP 3% + Match</p><p>· 3 weeks vacation</p><p>· $300/year tool allowance</p><p>· $750/year for Physio/Massages</p><p><strong>Application Process:</strong></p><p>All Qualified candidates will be contacted.</p><p><strong>InVision is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind:</strong></p><p>InVision is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.</p><p></p>
