Warehouse Operator
Your Role & Responsibilities The Warehouse Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently handling liquid and dry chemical products, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout all warehouse and transfer operations. This hands-on role involves loading and unloading trucks, tankers, and railcars; operating forklifts and other industrial equipment; repackaging and labeling materials; and maintaining precise inventory records. No two days are the same; you will work with a variety of products, equipment, and processes in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail truly matters. Your Profile Key Responsibilities Load/unload trucks, tankers, and railcars; handle transfer hoses; climb tanks/railcars; verify and document shipments. Perform product sampling and support quality control. Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods. Repackage products into drums, totes, cylinders, and other containers; ensure proper labeling, storage, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Maintain inventory accuracy, report damages, and assist with physical counts. Keep warehouse clean, safe, and organized; promptly report and clean spills. Follow all safety programs, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties, including mixing/blending as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift and lift/carry materials. Able to climb ladders and work in outdoor weather conditions. Must meet all safety and PPE requirements, including respirator use. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in chemical or warehouse operations preferred. Ability to obtain forklift certification. Basic math, reading, and computer skills. Ability to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends. Must pass background checks and be able to obtain a TWIC card (if required).
